In 2014 Soraya Margo’s journey into the world of jewellery began with a personal gift from her mother, a set of long chains and charms. This heartfelt gesture sparked a passion in Soraya Margo to make her own unique creations with jewellery. Soraya Margo experiences living in South America and Europe enriched her designs with a blend of cultural influences, making each piece a reflection of her diverse background. She always had a profound interest for cultural jewellery, admiring the artistry and history behind each piece. Yet, she often encountered a recurring issue: many of these gorgeous pieces were too fragile for everyday wear.
Committed to find a solution, Soraya Margo founded Goldy Margo in 2023, with a vision to create not only diverse fine jewellery that is appealing to the eye, but also jewellery that is resilient and sustainable for all day activities without compromising on elegance or quality. Central to Soraya Margo’s story is her childhood pet, Goldy. Goldy was more than just a dog it was Soraya Margo’s best friend and loyal companion. To Soraya Margo, Goldy embodied the loyalty and love she wanted to represent in Goldy Margo and its creations.
